This June marked an important milestone for Noro: our official commercial launch at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas.
InfoComm is one of the AV industry's most important events and this year, more than 28,000 attendees from 94 countries had the opportunity to see our Noro Portal in action.
For Noro, it was the perfect place to introduce the Portal commercially, and the reception exceeded our expectations.
We exhibited alongside our LED technology partner Nanolumens, giving attendees the opportunity to experience a live Noro Portal connecting the Las Vegas show floor with Noro locations around the country.
During InfoComm, the team at rAVe [PUBS] stopped by the Nanolumens booth for a walkthrough of the Noro Portal. Watch the video below for a closer look at how we're redefining workspaces for human connection:
The Portal also left InfoComm with three industry awards:
- Best of Show, AVTechnology
- Best of Show, Sound & Video Contractor
- The Tech Effect Techonaut Award for Best UC Solution
Panel: Designing for Presence
InfoComm was also an opportunity to talk about the larger shift we believe is happening in workplace technology.
Noro CEO and cofounder Tommaso Trionfi led a panel session alongside leaders from Steelcase, AVI-SPL XTG, Lenovo, and Gensler. The conversation explored where traditional video conferencing falls short, how immersive environments are beginning to enter real workplaces, and what this shift means for workplace designers, technology teams, and AV integrators.
The premise is central to why we built Noro: video conferencing made communication across distance easy, but there is still a meaningful gap between communicating with someone and feeling present with them.
